I lead Ackroydon Church and have been on staff here for the past three years. My wife, Ally and I really love the Ackroydon estate and are excited about how Jesus is using this church to demonstrate his love and welcome.
My Superpower: Bringing a football reference (English or American) into every sermon.
Also loves: My amazing wife and energetic 2-year old son.
Youth & Communities Worker - Kadin Barber
I love the Ackroydon community and am privileged to serve the church in various ways including being involved in services on a Sunday and with our monthly community evening, Giggles & Grub.
My greatest superpower is retrieving objects stored on high shelves. Since arriving in London from South Africa, I have loved exploring all the cultural offerings of this great city.
I’ve been a vicar for 12 years and began Ackroydon Community Church in 2016.
At heart I’m a Yorkshire boy. So I’m friendly, keen on Toad in the Hole & love cricket. I have two girls, a crazy spaniel, and I enjoy running, cooking, and watching most sport on TV.
